I am a 22 year-old engineering student with a deep passion for motorsports and themed entertainment. My fascination with engineering began before I even realized it - building LEGO sets rapidly, tearing them down, and creating my own designs. That early curiosity for how things were built naturally extended into the real world. Later on in my youth, I overcame my fear of roller coasters by diving into the technical aspects behind them. Learning how ride systems function, understanding the physics and mathematical relationships to track elements, and discovering the creativity behind their design turned my fear into excitement. Little did I know that my growing appreciation for engineering prowess would also ignite a love for another highly competitive and technologically advanced industry: motorsports.
In 2016, Ford returned to the 24 Hours of Le Mans with the Ford GT, securing a historic class win on the 50th anniversary of the GT40’s legendary victory. A year later, I stood trackside at the Long Beach Grand Prix, watching that very car carve through the field. That moment solidified my passion for engineering and ultimately set me on the path to becoming a mechanical engineer. I spent four years immersed in an introductory engineering program at Saugus High School before continuing my studies at Cal Poly SLO in the ABET-accredited Mechanical Engineering program.
At Cal Poly, I’ve expanded my technical expertise through hands-on projects with the Amusement Park Engineers and Designers, Racing, and Performance Automotive Engineering and Design clubs. These experiences have allowed me to merge academic knowledge with real-world applications, further reinforcing my love for design and innovation.
Beyond engineering, I channel my creativity into designing and building custom LEGO models, also known as My Own Creations (MOCs). While I enjoy crafting a variety of designs, I’m best known for my custom automotive scale models under the name "BrickbuiltRacers." These 1:30 scale builds have gained popularity on social media, and I’ve had the privilege of selling instructions for them on Rebrickable. This endeavor has also introduced me to graphic design, as I create social media content and custom stickers to enhance my models.
When I’m not working on engineering projects or LEGO builds, you’ll often find me behind a camera, capturing shots of friends, family, landscapes, and, of course, race cars. And if you ever want to start a conversation, just mention Star Wars. One day, I’d love to create my own Mandalorian character and attend a convention in full custom armor, remaining completely anonymous.
